Vacation

Gone for a week.

I have gone to James Island. It is just outside of Charleston, SC.

Will have a lot of pictures to share when I get back.
Went over to Penn Camera in Washington DC and rented 2 lenses.
1. Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8
2. Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8

It is a great thing when you can rent a "good" lens and know just what they can do without having to buy.


Penn camera is the best store to shop at in the Washington DC area. Check out the web site at Penn Camera


I am still waiting for the NEW Nikon D300 DSLR.

Bad Parking

Is it just me?

Some people just can't park! Do they not know what the lines mean?



Since it would be wrong (?) to damage the car, maybe this would help. (I really do not think so.)

The Great Falls of the Potomac

I went at to the The Great Falls of the Potomac park to take a look at the falls. They are not so much a large fall, but many after each other.

These are some pictures leading to the falls.

I include the falls later.

This is a side stream of the falls. Notice the picnic table to the left.


The B&O Canal is beside runs next to the Potomac river. This is lock 17. The Locks are made of wood. A lot of water leaks threw.



This is the spill way after the Lock.

People Can Not Park

Why is it that so many people can not park.

I went to the store today and this is what I find.



Just how much space does one (1) car need.



One the look out for people that just don't care.
